Following in the trend of years past, I have come out of the holidays exhausted. Long hours, continuous events to go to, decorating, cooking, wrapping and very little time to spend on my skin. The cold weather and time spent with wind on face isn't making matters any better, my skin could really use some tlc and attention right now. I am going to be testing out 2 items from Valentia to see if I can get rid of some of the cold weather skin I have. I will be looking for and reviewing the following:
Valentia Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask -
- Kaolin Clay: Clay minerals draw impurities, improve skin tone, and tighten pores for smoother firmer skin.
- Plant Stem Cells: Naturally decreases the level of pro-aging toxins and works to soother the skin, reduce redness, and improve evenness.
-Spirulina: A botanical stimulant full of vitamins that hydrates the skins surface and contributes to tissue regeneration of the skin.
- CoQ10: Lessens the appearance of wrinkles by reducing free radical damage and stimulating health collagen production.

Valentia Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask and Eternal Youth Exfoliating Scrub Review

- Smaller Pores/ Firmer Skin
- Exfoliating efficiency
- Skin hydration
- Overall Skin appearance and feel
- Smell
- Application
A natural kaolin clay and botanical based mask that gently removes excess, dirt and oil while deeply cleansing and exfoliating the skin to reveal softer, smoother skin.

So how did they do?
Detoxifying Clay Mask- Application - The mask burned a little at first, I questioned taking it off but I didn't. I am so glad I didn't take it off, my skin was fine after about 3 minutes. The consistency is much lighter and thinner than many of the clay masks I have used in the past. It makes it apply nicely with the exfoliating because you can spread it around more simple. It is almost like a thinner body butter. You leave it on for 15-20 minutes or until it is dry and then wash off. The recommend using a washcloth, but I didn't and it came off nicely still.
- Smell - Fruity, sweet and refreshing. It isn't overwhelming either, it lasts even when it is drying.
- Skin Tone - Even with a subtle nice glow
- Smaller Pores/ Firmer Skin - Tighter pores that appear smaller and make for overall firmness
- Exfoliating efficiency - I worked the mask around in a circular motion both when applying and when I took it off. It did a wonderful job of taking off dry/dead skin without tearing into my skin. It is gentle but it did what it was supposed to do.
- Skin hydration - Unlike a lot of masks I have tried that left my face feeling dry, this left it feeling refreshed. I waited sometime before I applied any moisturizer so that I could really take in what it felt like. If it wasn't part of my routine or I had run out of moisturizer I wouldn't worry.
- Overall Skin appearance and feel - Since I've been using this product my skin looks and feels firmer and stronger than it use to be. Healthy glow that makes it nice when I don't want to put makeup on. Overall my skin is softer, smoother and seems tighter.
- Application - The gritty texture is perfect for sloughing off those dead, flaky skin cells. It appears thicker and almost jelly like but it is very workable and easy to use.
- Smell - Citrus and minty, odd but nice combination
- Exfoliating efficiency - I didn't have to do much other than basic circular motions to get this to work well. Light pressure was all that was needed to be effective. Did a better job than the scrub I am used to using.
- Skin hydration - Very good hydration without leaving your skin feeling over moisturized.
- Overall Skin appearance and feel - leaves your skin so wonderfully smooth, bright, and refreshed. Smooth, soft and clean, without drying or tight and there is no residue.
These products are also VEGAN, CRUELTY FREE and made in the US! I am a huge supporter of anything than doesn't harm animals, so this is also a big thing I look for. It is made with 98% natural ingredients, this is some wonderful high quality stuff.
